Very pleased with the YDP161, I tried out the 141, but noticed that the key action on the 161 was noticeably better.
If you are like me and find having a decent piano feel and sound more desirable than a million buttons you never use then I recommend the 161.

I've played an acoustic piano for over 30 years but finally decided to succumb to digital and I'm so glad I did. This instrument is fab..I've put it on the most sensitive touch settings and it's really responsive. I can't wait to buy some new sheet music to practice on it!! Excellent product, excellent service from Umbrella music. The only thing that let us down was the courier company Citilink, who failed to deliver on the date arranged, and then delivered two packages on two separate days, which meant we had to wait in for three days. Now we have the piano installed, we are very happy ith our purchase!

This is a fantastic piece of equipment. It is simple to set up and use and the only extra thing you will need to record material is a microphone. The service from Umbrella Music was great and we will happily use them again.

Hello All at Umbrella Music, I received the Yamaha DGX 640 on friday.
Thanks a Million for the speedy delivery at a low cost. I am very
happy to have received such a wonderful keyboard within my price range
and with free gifts too. I have only one small complaint - one of the
keys is making a clunky noise and it is a minor irritant. I lay the
blame on Yamaha quality control. If you have any suggestions on how to
rectify the problem without the hassle of having to return the
keyboard to you I would be grateful.

Product purchased very good. Umbrella Customer services very good, acted quickly to resolve problem where wrong delivery address had been linked to tracking details resulting in wrong delivery address being given to carrier. Umbrella reacted very quickly once error known and contacted the carrier to advise of the correct address. Unfortunately DPD could not contact their driver as he did not answer his phone, and delivered the item to wrong address. DPD have since done this with another item purchased by my son from a completely different company, so I will be complaining direct to them.
I would be happy to use Umbrella again as they really tried to sort out the problem and rectify it.

Being musically inept I can't give a review as to how the Vintage V300 sounds (bought it as a present) but if you were after an acoustic guitar that looks like it might get you some action, this has got to be a top choice.

I bought the Yamaha EZ200 for my 8 year old dauhters birthday. Not only does she love it very much, but the rest of the family do. We already have a Yamaha PSR 500 - for my son - but he prefers playing the EZ because of all the lights and learning facility. Really well designed, nice clear sound and loud with 375 vocies, and 100 play along songs. The method of learning the song at first seems tricky, but after learning a few basic songs it is great tool for children to play tunes to beat. The great thing is you can slow down the tempo so you can learn progressively. Only drawback is that it does not have a simple playback recording function that could allow other songs to be played and followed by a begginer. I have to say Umbrella quoted the best price, which includes a free stand and headphones (which unfortunately broke). The other good ppoint is the flexibilty of the delivery date you can choose - however I was dissapointed that the Company DTS did not deliver it on the time we asked for and was not delivered until few days later. Luckily still made it in time for my Daughters birthday. Thank you Umbrella Music. Regards Kaush

Great Paino, really like the recording feature and the overall sound. There vere some hiccups with the delivery but was sorted out by the helpful shop staff. Thanks for that! The only disappointment was the free headphones: not the nice ones as pictured but very cheap computer headphones that went straight to the charity shop.

Have had major problems with the shipping to Holland (due to some inexplicable errors at DHL), but almost a month later, the package has finally been delivered completely.
Great instrument, arrived in perfect state and the included bench and headphones are okay too.
I am very happy with my purchase, though the delivery was not as "easy" as promised, but that was not the fault of Umbrella Music.

My son's piano arrived a 2 days ago after a delay of almost 6 weeks to Greece. The fault is NOT from the staff from Umbrella Music ( who were very friendly and professional)or the company, but from different other factors.

The whole purchase process has been great from start to finish. Sound advice, delivered in a very friendly manner. Delivered on the day specified, bang in the middle of the hour delivery window offered.The Yamaha CP5 is excellent, exactly what was needed. Bought principally as a 'grand piano small enough to fit in a very small cottage'. Using the extra potential in terms of variety of performance will be a challenge but an extremely pleasurable one.

I recently purchased one of this gorgous pianos from Umbrella. The guys were very helpful and got my piano shipped out to me in no time at all. The price was superb and given the extras (stool and head phones) I was more than happy with the deal offered. I was unlucky that my piano had a minor fault on it, but Umbrella arranged for a specialist technician to come and sort the problem. Would have no problem dealing with this company again and would certainly recommend the product to anybody looking for a baby grand with sound restrictions as you can play this without upsetting the neighbours!

This was brilliant! Quality of the microphone meant that I did not need to purchase an external one. It's lightweight, easy to use and looks stylish. The windshield makes it perfect for outdoor recording and indoor I can use this for voiceover recording and the HPF function allows for clear quality. I haven't yet found any faults - the battery life is great too, I think mine is still next to full after a month.

A safe bet if you are giving the first steps into piano learning. Great weighted keys, pedal does feel a bit fragile. Sound through speakers is ok, through headphones is quite good. A good buy.

This digital piano was my second pino in my life. Before this I had a Yamaha P33 but as we were expecting our first baby I had to sell it. This piano was the cheapest 88 weighted hammer key piano so I didn't expect too much. If you use it mainly for practice,it won't let you down. The keys are very good, not too hard not too soft. The sounds are very good for a £300 piano. It's worth the money.
