Umbrella Music’s Shipping Procedure
We use City Link for all UK deliveries and Royal Mail 1st class for smaller items. If your item is in stock and you don’t tell us otherwise we will ship your item on a next working day day service (Mon-Thursday dispatch) unless you have selected a Saturday delivery date on checkout.
Our warehouse team is led by Warren Wilson who will always personally make sure that each item sent out is to the same high packaging standard. You can expect your item to be fully padded and securely packaged to avoid any damage in transit. Please let us know if we fail on this promise.
By having our dispatch centre and sales/customer service office on the same site we eradicate any communication mishaps that may happen elsewhere and work closely together as a sales and dispatch team.
When your order is dispatched we will either send you an email or a text message with your parcel tracking number so you know exactly when your item from Umbrella will arrive. If you have ordered a large item such as a Yamaha Clavinova and it is being delivered by our specialist set up team then you will get a phone call from our sales team to inform you of available time slots for delivery. If there is going to be any delay getting your goods to you then we will contact you within 2 hours (let us get into work first!) of you placing your order.
We offer a few different delivery options to give you the best possible service. Please note that the delivery costs quoted on the product page are for our standard delivery. The extra costs will appear in your shopping bag if you click on the delivery option.
Next Day by 17:30 (standard delivery)
We will deliver after 07:00 and no later than 17:30, Monday to Friday.
Next Day by 9:00
The fastest next day delivery option for the very start of the following working day. We will deliver at any time after 07:00 and no later than 09:00.
Next Day by 10:30
A popular mid-morning service where we will deliver at any time after 07:00 and no later than 10:30.
Next Day by 12:00
We will deliver at any time after 07:00 and no later than 12:00.
Small Items
Royal Mail 1st Class
Delivery in 1-2 working days. If you have ordered something small like a set of guitar strings then these will be posted through your letter box so there is no need to be in to receive delivery.
Royal Mail Tracked Service
Delivery in 1-2 days and with a full Tracking number service. This requires a signature from the customer upon delivery.
